標準公司發行的紀錄片，記錄了1967年6月 16日~18日在加州蒙特利舉辦的搖滾盛宴。這個紀錄片是用老式的攝像機拍攝於1967年，修復後雖然畫面顆粒感稍重，總體效果看起來好像並不屬於想像中的遙遠的六十年代，音效上也有著良好的表現，製作了一條DTS音軌，此外後期製作的相關花絮、訪談更是增加了整套DVD的含金量。對於一個音樂時代的音樂盛宴，從側面，從各個角度去瞭解，才能領略到更多，也才能體會更多。蒙特利音樂節是世界上最早的一次大型搖滾音樂節，遠道而來的聽眾們在這個美麗的小鎮上度過了和平而愉快的三天，他們中的釵h人因此決定在加州留了下來。他們的下一個目的地就是舊金山的海特－阿什伯理區（Haight Ashbury），他們要在那裡頭戴鮮花慶祝「愛之夏"，從此，影響了一代人的嬉皮士運動開始了。在反映美國這段動盪歷史的電影「Forrest Gump"的原聲帶裡就收錄了「加州夢"和「舊金山"這兩首歌曲。
